Recently acquired a 2019 with 11k miles, bought from out state Ferrari dealer where it was originally sold. Flew to test drive and seemed as expected.
Had it delivered and I don't think I had done 10 miles, parked for lunch and then got check engine after restart to return.
Got P0442 which indicates small leak in evap control, anyone have any experience or know of common points of failure?

Reset the code, keep it on a tender, and drive it until it pops back up.

I’d bet its voltage after the long nap in transport.

Unfortunately does not seem to be battery related; cleared code, charged overnight and got it to run test again.
    Evap 3C test 81:
    Acceptable range 0-0.150
    Result 0.176
So it's marginal but failing, I would love to just change the gas cap as a first step but we don't have one...

Is it in your interest to try half a dozen start and drive cycles to see if it clears? Weird messages on Cali T may occur when battery charging issues arise, these can take a half dozen driving cycles to clear.

Hopefully it's not as serious as it seems. Sometimes when I start prematurely (not allowing all the electric systems to communicate) several errors would pop up , which is a relief to me because I know it's just a battery error. Goes away after a proper start-up. Seeing one or two isolated codes, I'm not so sure. Do you have warranty on it (power or extended?)

Well evap is not something I would call serious except that I live in an emissions check county.
Will take it out this weekend to do the clunker manoeuvre of resetting with a full tank (so evap check can't run) and then trying to get all other monitors to set. And then immediately have it inspected.
Have extended power but it is my understanding it covers almost nothing.

Check your gas cap. Sometimes they leak slightly from not closed tight or minor defect. I have a car (BMW) which if you don't firmly close the cap intentionally it generates a tiny leak just outside of acceptable range and cause the CEL. Reset the code, check the cap, and see if it comes back.

ETA I read your later post about not having another cap. Check the underside for dirt, imperfections first, then tight it firmly.

Sadly this one is one of those capless fillers. The mechanism does not look particularly robust so I would not be surprised if that is it but I would need to change the whole filler neck to the tune of $1k.
For now I was able to pass inspection so I'll take some time to diagnose before throwing parts at it.

Oh sorry I misread what you said about having no cap. I have do have a Lotus with a capless filler and there is enough room to seal up the outside under the flap. Perhaps you can try that out -- make a air tight seal around the outside of the filler and see if the code returns.

Yes I was thinking about that but have not come up with exactly how to cover. But that would be a great test to make sure that is indeed the problem.

Change your battery, funny gremlin-like messages come up with a slightly compromised battery in the Ferrari cars.

Decided to check the flap mechanism on the fuel filler and the inner flap (which I understand is the one that actually seals the tank) is very filthy. This is very wierd as there is the first flap and the dust shield on the door and both look fine (and clean).
I'm debating whether to get a smoke tester or just pull the filler and clean it on the bench.
