So.. we recently had the founder of a well known Los Angeles based Jean company move to our neighborhood, The Reserve at Lake Keowee https://reserveatlakekeowee.com/. And this past weekend my neighbor told us he was going to sell his lake house so I thought what the heck, I'll post it on the CA site in the event any of our Fchat brothers are looking for property on the East Coast.

We live on one of the most beautiful lakes in the South, and it's in one of just eight temperate rain forests in the world. National Geographic featured the Jocassee Gorges as one of "50 of the World's Last Great Places". Comprising over 50,000 acres of temperate rainforest, Jocassee Gorges has an abundance of waterfalls, rare plants including the Oconee bell, and stunning views of Lake Jocassee. If you have seen the movie Deliverance, that was Lake Jocassee being flooded.

Below is an old listing, those tend to last forever as you know. Since this listing he has purchased an additional acre on the lake between us, and he also just completed 500k in remarkable landscaping. I think he is between 3 and 4mm asking.

People are moving to South Carolina, opening businesses, buying primary and secondary homes. I think currently we are ranked in the top five states for growth. I'm always surprised to see people from California moving here because your state is so beautiful. I recently ran into a couple who left an eight generation cattle ranch somewhere not far from Los Alisos, and they are now ranching near Johnston, SC. Interesting. People move and buy property for all kinds of reasons. Feel free to pm if interested and I'll forward his contact. BTW nothing in it for me, just spreading the news....Oh, since this is Ferrari Chat.... We have some incredible roads, in fact, driving the F40 and 348 Challenge, the 41 miles of beautiful twisting road up to this festival this week. I hate transporting cars and what the heck, it's about experiencing them am I right? https://highlandsmotoringfestival.com/home
