That car was restored by a Sydney guy about 5 years ago, then sold this year by Oldtimer in QLD.

 

Or maybe Mark still has it on consignment?

Did you see the dismantled Veyron in my photos from the London Concours? Was interesting to see under the skin of one. This one had had some use. Only seen two every actually on the road here, all the rest at shows!

 

Had another outing yesterday to CKL Developments in deepest Sussex. Build competition Jaguars mainly. 2 D Types, 1 C Type and 2 XK-SSs there as well as plenty of E-Types and XKs.
They get a reliable 360/370 hp out of a 3.8 XK engine now with a lot of clever tricks. Can get close to 400hp, but become more difficult to drive as they have less torque than the lower hp motors.
Interesting day out...
