    You realize we are talking 65+ years ago, right?
    Not sure 'acting' was a requirement - see William Shatner - and it sure as hell isn't today.

    No, he isn't a Paul Newman or a Steve McQueen, but he's OK for the roles he has played,
    for the most part, but he sure has made a lot of bad choices in role selection.
