I purchased a certified used 2017 488 Spider last December. It had about 10,500 miles on it. In the past 6 months I have put almost 5,000 miles on it and it's been rock solid (except for squeaky brakes after a track day). I was planning to just do the annual service/maintenance in December, including oil change, etc., but if at this rate I'm going to drive it probably close to 10,000 miles this year (most of you probably think I'm crazy but hey I bought the car to enjoy - not sit in the garage). Should I service it sooner?

If you spend significant time in hot weather or on track, then I'd at least do oil and filter mid year if you're racking up over 10K miles

I would do the oil every 5k-7k miles just to be safe. Squeaky breaks after track day is likely just debris. Kudos for the miles my friend.

Today's oil is actually quite different than the oil most of us are used to when we were younger.... the proper manufacturer recommended oil will be just fine for 10k miles before changing. There's no harm in changing more often but it's really not necessary

I think (too lazy to go and check in the warranty / maintenance booklet now) the interval is 12,500 miles (20,000 km) when reached before one year; so 10,000 miles should be fine for a "formal" maintenance.
In between, depending on use, it might be worth checking/replacing pads and brake fluid.

Yeah I've been tracking mine once every 50ish days or so when my Schedule allows. I have a unit at The Motor Enclave Tampa. I don't push the car too hard but I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to have the oil done more frequently and this time around I'll have the gearbox fluid changed as well. Better safe than sorry!
