    Hi all,

I was wondering if perhaps @Rifledriver or someone local might have a recommendation for someone in the Scottsdale, AZ area to do a PPI in the next week or two?

    Thanks for any help!

No one I would trust. In my opinion counting on a local is a bad idea. If the car is important to you send your mechanic. I have 2 appointments on my calendar now to look at cars in different parts of the country. I have seen so many really bad outcomes with locals PPI'ing cars its just not worth the money or trouble.
99% of the time they take the money and give a good report or con you into having them do a bunch of low quality work. Its devolved into a con game.

How do you make up for not having an available lift? Or floor jacks?

I have traveled to many dealers who have always made a lift available. Just as my dealers did for visiting mechanics.

If it is a private party a good inspection on the floor is worth 100 bad inspections in the air.

I have completely given up on inspections done out of town, even by reputable shops. When I finally see the car it is as though it was a different car they inspected. They just dont give a ****.
