Where can I find the key code to get a spare cut. I've found a service that will cut them from a code but I don't know where to find it. Any ideas?
On a small metal tag on the key ring when the car was new. If you are really lucky it was written in the front of the service book.
sorry, was misstyping - wanted to write: .....only by looking at the key sure they need the original to copy, but when they know the code they also can do it. but for the code they need the old one. or is it somewhere written in the papers/invoice when new?
I have just one key and need a spare. I seem to remember that some Fiat blanks are the same. Any ideas?
when you still have 1 key then every good key maker can make you one. the blank key is the same as fiat and alfa romeo has
@Ashs - I had @gobble make me a 550 style key for my 512TR because I thought the folding key was really goofy. Not a perfect match for the factory 550 key but very close and a lot less than GBP 800! Looks like a factory 550 key blank from ferrariparts.co.uk is actually cheaper at GBP 72. Might be an option for you if you just need a spare.
