Just learned that the USA has repealed the end of ICE mandate.

this means Americans will be allowed to buy the car of their choosing: ICE, hybrid, and EV.

Is the USA market incentive enough to keep the V12 production in business in Maranello?

Or would they expand FNA to do the manufacturing of V12’s. EU regulators might ban production of ICE in the EU even if for export to USA.

Doubtful, though a great excuse to build a new V12 in the USA with final assembly in New Jersey. The ultimate hot rod Ferrari...:D

I think the stated path of Ferrari V12 motors is only via the Icona series.

My hope and prayers are as DT and his team continue to identify the conduits of where all of our tax dollars have gone, most of the "green" nonsense will end globally. Manufactures can get back to building what clients want.

Icona might only be offered to US customers since the Icona is a street legal vehicle

They're really quite intent on sinking their own industry, apparently.

It doesn't make sense that Ferrari would skunk the US market. If the tariffs remain it makes financial sense to open a Ferrari plant to modify or complete US only products at an extreme cost. Since the brand no longer cares about heritage there shouldn't be a reason to give up all that profit.

It would be able to continue and grow the NA V12 capability but any other parts of the car or finish quality would likely suffer. But they shouldn't care being a public company that creates luxury goods first and then cars. Americans also love theme parks and so there's a ton of money that could be made if there was some kind of marketable corporate presence in the states.

Maybe make everything except the V12 engine in Italy.

Let the Italian Americans in Jersey build the engine!

They were thinking about building a Marine World based theme park in New York featuring dolphins.

They decided against it because they thought people wouldn’t see the “poi-pose”

(Funnier when spoken with a NYC accent.)

If they were to have a V12 for the USA, it would just be a regurgitation of the current V12 which is getting seriously long in the tooth. There are better V12s out there which, admittedly don’t come cheap!

IMO the 12 Cilindri and the Purosangue are the last 12 cylinder engines in standard cars.

The only models that will be getting the 12 cylinder are the icona and multimillionaires ordering a one off.
