Any feedback for NA Cali owners? I have a Cali 30 HS and am just curious what others have done. Below is a loud setup I found. thx
Yes that does sound really good. The stock exhause sounds a bit too throaty for my taste, I like my 360 sound better, but this would be amazing.
Hi, I’m working on a system for my new cali. Will post when I’m done. this is the system I like. https://www.fabspeed.com/ferrari-california-performance-package-2009-2014/ But my exhaust guy suggested, only de-cat’ing the original setup. Although Army can be good on another model, the sound in the attached video, does not feel like a Ferrari for me, probably the system is all a straight pipe?
I blocked the vacuum line so the valves are always open. Otherwise it’s OEM. Sounds great. I have been looking at Valvetronic though so . . .
I also have the exhaust valves open on my cali30 did it the day I bought the car. In fact I have done that on every ferrari I have owned ..I had the dealer do it before they were delivered to me..
Helps with the on/off issue of valves but does not give any more volume or pitch which is what I’m looking into. (I do the same on my 458’s)
My car - 2011 Cali. Last year I got Capristo X-pipe, Sport Cats, & Tune. Left stock mufflers as they are pinned open. Car sounds great. More of a high pitch F1 sound on acceleration. Lots of pops/burbles on deceleration.
I also got in contact with my chiptuner After de-catting, he is going to program the cat sensors from the ecu and he insisted on an afr setup, that will race the horse… We will see, I will try to dyno it stock, than only with de-cat and than a third dyno after tune.
