KLINE VALVETRONIC EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR FERRARI FF

Kline recognizes the Ferrari FF as the quintessential Grand Tourer, boasting a 6.3-liter V12 engine and drawing on styling aesthetics inspired by a previous era, resulting in a timeless and chic appeal. Understanding the exceptional sonic potential of the naturally aspirated V12 engine, Kline took on the challenge of maximizing its performance.

THE SOUND

Kline’s main criteria for the FF was to develop an incredibly lightweight, valvetronic full exhaust system using Inconel 625. The goal was to create an exhaust system that would deliver a subtle and pleasant auditory experience during cruising speeds while opening up to a full-throttle scream when the valves are fully open.

To achieve this, Kline replaced the stock catalyst with high-flow 200cpsi HJS sports catalysts, significantly amplifying the sound output. Additionally, they engineered a precisely designed laminar flow X-Pipe with perfect geometry, which enriched the tone, raised the pitch, and produced a fuller, more aggressive exhaust note. The inclusion of a valvetronic rear section allows for near-silent operation during cruising, while providing the freedom to unleash the unrestricted Ferrari scream when desired.

STAINLESS STEEL

Within the realm of exhaust manufacturing, the industry has traditionally relied on the established standard of 304-grade stainless steel. This grade offers a well-balanced combination of moderate strength, thermochemical stability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of production. It enables the construction of exhaust systems that strike a practical balance between affordability and functionality, ensuring long-term durability. However, it is important to note that stainless steel is relatively heavier compared to alternative materials. While its density is similar to regular steel, it possesses slightly lower tensile strength. INCONEL

If you have a stock exhaust on an FF and are controlling the valves (meaning keeping them open), what would be the most bang for your buck on an addition to the current setup? Downpipes possibly? I would like a little more of the F1 experience but as a daily driver with kiddos it would be nice to be tame around town. Thanks for any insight and great looking products.

I did Kline 200 cel cats and x-pipe with stock catback - sounds better but I think it could be a bit louder

To my knowledge, the Kline piping on the FF and Lusso systems is roughly 1/4" larger in diameter than the factory. Was your factory center pipe section after the x-pipe modified to fit or was some sort of adaptor used?
