It did improve the sound in the sense that the valve is always open, even on throttle lift. It’s never adding to the loudest part of the volume, but yes, it helps. I didn’t experience a cel, but I wouldn’t be surprised if
    It happens.

Beween idle to 3k RPM is it noticeably louder and made the over run more noticeable on lift off? I am waiting until annual service to get it valve controller installed.

I like to drive fast within reasons and not looking like trying too hard or offend others, so not increasing volume above 3k RPM is fine, I find stock sound above 3k RPM once valve opens actually acceptable for me. Just below 3k RPM at slow cruising speed when valve is closed, it is quite bad

Yes, it solves all of that. I had a Pista and it had the same annoying valve action. Loud-soft-loud grows tiring.

we all want the same thing... more sound, more soul, more visceral experience with our cars. I have sent Ferrari North America several emails regarding the following (something like this) .... I understand that Ferrari is concerned with allowing exhaust and tuning to avoid the codes, my thoughts are (like Lambo and Porsche) some allow their service departments to install the mods and not void the warranty. Ferrari should have a special group of techs that are trained to install the mods and therefore they still have full control of the install. I understand that Ferrari is concerned that anyone with a computer is a tuner and do not disagree.... But if this was under the control of ferrari, then they should be comfortable that the mods are done correctly. We should all start to bombard Ferrari Corp in North America with emails and start a petition " we want the ability for the dealers to be able to install mods" maybe there is only a couple of dealerships that provide the service, but at least it can be done. I have a SF90 and want to add an exhaust, but will NOT ... because there is no way I would jeopardize the warranty.
