I noticed on the vetroresina 308 now on BaT (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1976-ferrari-308-gtb-2-2/) that in picture 246 you can see loops on either side of the rear deck lid. Are these loops exclusive to fiberglass cars? Do they help in a quick and easy removal of the rear deck lid? I've heard horror stories about the removal and replacement of the rear deck lid, and I'm wondering if the loops make that easier, or if they're even related to it at all thanks, Steve

    Hi Steve

Yes and yes - you pull the loops and can remove the deck.

I believe they are unique to the glass cars but am sure I’ll be corrected if not!

Correct only the glass cars got this and they are pulls that release the hinges to make rear deck removal easier. The hinges are totally different on glass cars and this is another detail that makes glass cars unique.
