Yes, thanks for being better with words than me! Stock has variable teeth so when you’re stopped you can somewhat easily turn the wheel without having to roll forward. no one has made one for the assisted racks afaik
I wonder if tuning helps? Is the issue too much understeer street cars are set up with for safety? A lot can be done to change that balance. Maybe the answer isn't at the steering wheel?

Oh wow, that is a new one for me! I thought you were talking about electric PS pumps. Didn't know this tech existed. How is steering feel through that gizmo?
I think the point is you can shut it off once over parking lot speeds (or whatever speed is comfortable) and you get the unfiltered manual steering feel. I don't think it's as good as hydraulic assist in terms of feel when enabled, but the nice thing is when you shut it off you only get a tiny bit of damping purely from spinning the electric motor. From what I've read in terms of driving feel it's unnoticeable.
