    What's a typical summer time appointment wait time at authorized dealership service departments?

    My local just quoted me four weeks. Another owner 90 mins away was quoted 5-6 weeks at his local.

    Not enough service technicians I suppose. But is that typical for the summer, it takes 4-6 weeks to get an appointment to have your car serviced?

    Sounds about right. With summer approaching you have staff on holiday so that likely takes it out an extra 7-10 days.
