Funny how one thing leads to another.....
OK so still deciding if I actually want to take the bumper off and have it resprayed, mostly because there are a fair amount of other parts of the car that could use a little paint love. It’d be a little weird to have a perfect bumper… and less that perfect paint on the rest of the car…. Anyway, the spoiler motor is fully back together and I’ll probably reinstall it this week. I used an electronics-specific silicone for the little junction box on the motor, and then covered the rest with plastidip. I did also remove both mufflers - I’m considering switching to tubi’s but I already have straight center pipes and I don’t think this car would sound that cool being too loud. But the mufflers were pretty east to remove so can decide/switch back later. I’ll take some good pics as well especially if/when the bumper is off… Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, I just needed to try and test my rear motor and spoiler. Maybe it will be useful to someone (The work also involves dismantling the exhaust, but the electric motor can be tested directly and they recommend letting the electric motor run for a while). PLUS = Green MINUS = Brown
