Is there any interchangeable ignition switch for 348? I'd just need the bottom part. Mine was melt and seems it can't be bought separately.

Thanks for pointing it out! I didn't notice while browsing. Probably some Fiat/Alfa part would fit but since I have no idea which, it might be easiest to just buy that one.

Great find Jeff........348,355,360,550,575 if I'm not mistaken all have that plastic rotor piece attached to the end of the cylinder lock.

I have seen them break and are trashed if shorted out or in a burned car.

To be on the safe side check the pigtail(harness) to make sure it corresponds to the main dash wiring harness.

It is definitely worth checking considering the price of it vs ferrari part.

All you need is for the plastic rotor to fit into the ferrari barrel that way you keep the original cylinder lock and key and throw the alpha parts away(or sell..lol).

juhani, get the bosch WR1 "hard" start kit too - ive just fitted one to mine and its really improved the starting and also allegedly reduces the load on your ignition switch

Thanks for the tip, Jeff! I have noticed that hot starts are not always easy and looking into the matter seems like WR1 kit should help with that as well.
