Seems that they're rearranging the schedule to finish top qualifying in 2 hours from now. In the meantime they'll run the touring car races on...I guess the GP circuit...while they fix the armco.
Bathurst 12 hrs, Nurburgring 24 hrs, Spa 24 hrs and Suzuka 1000km are the most important GT races of the year. To me, they are more interesting than the WEC and IMSA because the spotlights are not on prototypes. The Intercontinental GT Challenge attracts more factory teams and drivers. Also they are run on challenging classic circuits; such difference with F1 !!! (not sure about Indy 8 hrs though ...)
As far as those three yes, but of course you are worldly enough to know that you can't generalize. Estre and Ocon can be nasty while Romain had some issues of self inflicted pressure at race starts causing mayhem but he got his head straight with some help. Thank God mental health is no longer a taboo and a lot of drivers are getting psychological advice. Go through the history of French drivers in F1 and sportscar racing and there is absolutely no such pattern.
