Had a terrible craving for home made pizza, so hubby got to work and made THE BEST PIZZA EVER. my all time fav is the provolone dolce with tomato and fresh basil. His pizza dough is so tasty just on it’s own that I will make pizzette fritte ( fried pizza) with the left over dough..of course he prefers the Aussie pizza which is topped with pineapple and shrimps, but at least he made a meat lovers with peperoni, ham, Sicilian salami, burrata ( fresh mozzarella Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login filled with a buttery cream filling) and fresh basil that we could both enjoy.

Yet another pasta to try. This is an oldie from the 1980’s. Creamy vodka pasta with pancetta served with the usual homemade peppers Image Unavailable, Please Login

Wanted a more meat taste rather than a full on 9+ Waygu so we got a Mayura 5+ rib eye to BBQ. Cooked up a couple of pork and fennel sausages and Angus beef patties. Served them with fried potato cakes or potato scallops as known in other parts of Aussieland with home made butter mushroom sauce and the ubiquitous home made marinated peppers. Buon Appetito.. In my 30+ years dining at this Rotisserie Chicken hole-in-the-wall in Pasadena, I have yet to figure out what’s in Yoshi-San’s 32 spice sauce. Likewise, in my world travels, have tasted nothing like it. Just know he invented this. Vinaigrette is the lightest ever. Fried tofu is not on the menu. He gives to regulars only. Full meal for $22.95. Japanese flare with French influence from his early years training in Paris. Love this place.
