348 348 Component speakers project from Scuderia Audio

Here are the first renderings of the completed 348 hyper directional tweeter pods design. These 3D printed pieces are exact duplicates of the factory A pillar triangles except for the center area. Simply unbolt your factory A pillar triangles, save them for when you sell the car, then bolt these on. The tweeters are angled to shoot the sound right straight at the occupants for perfect stereo imaging.

Good for 355 too?

 

The 355 triangles are different. Even the material is different (metal vs. plastic). The 355 component speakers project is about one week behind this project. I will be creating a similar thread for the 355 soon.

 

No interest, personally, but beautifully executed. Bravo.

 

We originally thought that the Focal speakers would be a good fit for the 348 but discovered that the magnet was too large and the speaker basket was too thick. Today we tested the Audison speakers and they fit perfectly. We should have kits up on the website and available in about two weeks. The interior door frame and the factory speaker are the same pieces for the 355 so this kit works with those cars as well.

The Audison version of the hyper directional tweeter pods are being 3D printed as I write this. Since the Audison tweeters are not as deep as the Focals, the tweeter housing on the triangle doesn't stick out as much as the Focal version.

 

Well done for the thought and the effort . I looked around for 2 years . Had to pay big bucks to get Focals installed and 8" subwoofer on the passenger side of the mod console panel under the carpet with a 1" raise. Tye subwoofer casing had to be custom made. It's worth it as changes tye experience with decent audio.

 

The 348 Audison Component speakers system is now ready. Production kits are in stock and ready to ship.
