Hi everyone, Just wanted to share a quick update now that we’ve moved into the most exciting part of the process: final lamination and finishing of our first full pair of Ferrari 550 carbon seats. After a long trip to Italy (Oslo → Amsterdam → Bologna → Modena → Maranello), I spent several days with our production team to personally inspect the molds, materials, and first prepreg layers. Some pictures from the trip: Outside the gates of Maranello, always a sacred moment arriving here. Image Unavailable, Please Login Dinner at Cavallino, just across from the Ferrari factory. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re visiting. Image Unavailable, Please Login Inside one of the main production halls, nothing like the energy of Italian craftsmanship at scale. Image Unavailable, Please Login OEM 550 seats getting ready for retrim, we’re matching factory specifications down to the stitch line, with exact hides. Image Unavailable, Please Login These are the hides we’ve ordered, Autolux Nero 8500 among them all natural grain. Image Unavailable, Please Login Carbon finish options, matte, gloss, and even colored carbon weave (for those feeling brave). Most buyers choose OEM periode correct. Image Unavailable, Please Login Here are some photos from the lamination process earlier this week, we’re using OEM-correct weave carbon, done via pre-preg vacuum bagging in multi-part molds. No shortcuts. Every panel is carefully aligned by hand and matched to the original 550 seat geometry down to the stitching reliefs and mounting points. These are not generic shells, they’re built from scratch using original OEM seats as templates, and tuned for 100% fit and finish. As always, happy to answer questions in the thread or by PM. — Reza Carbonseats.com

These are cool, but $10k per seat is a little (read: a lot) much. I'll wait to find a used set for cheap. Some day. I'm patient.
I'm surprised Ferrari would allow this. Ferrari are supper aggressive on non-sanctioned Ferrari logo product
$10k per seat is actually less than the cost of a used OEM set. At least for F355's, they trade between $20-30k depending on spec and condition. Anything on the lower end of that range doesn't last more than a week on the market. So yeah...$10k per seat in the exact spec you want or need is actually less than what it would cost finding a used set and re-trimming it.
Totally understand where you’re coming from, but I just want to clarify a few things for context: Factory carbon seats for the 550 are extremely rare. According to internal estimates, fewer than 200 cars were ever delivered with that option globally, most of them custom orders or special cars like WSR (World Speed Record), Carrozzeria Scaglietti Michael Schumacher Options etc. So waiting for a used pair to pop up is like playing the lottery… with bad odds. Even if they do show up, the prices have recently exceeded EUR 25k+ for a pair, and that’s without knowing if the condition is good or if the leather color matches your interior. Add retrimming, repairs, or refinishing, and you’re already deep into the numbers. With our project, you get: - Brand-new carbon fiber shells - OEM-spec fitment and geometry - Foam & upholstery customized to your exact spec - Backed by top-tier artisans used by Ferrari and Lamborghini Of course, not for everyone, but for those who’ve searched for years or want the best possible option today, this is the only way to get them new, plug & play, and tailored to your car. Happy to answer any questions
You are right. It is a very big box of money but,............ I'm looking for a pair since 2015 and never find One for sale. Not considering the price, just for sale. By the way, 2 different scammer's in two different situations try to scam me. Take Care! I have now found a set, and pay more than this value. If it is rational? Ferrari's are not rational. It is worth the value? Subjective, but the owner decides that value. They are so rare that it is near impossible to find anyone. Find a compleat plug n' play set that match your car colour combo for a cheap price is it not impossible, but......... Good Luck
Carbon shells for 550 are now completed, correct geometry, mounting points, and dimensions based on OEM seat scans. Trim work for the 355 seats is already underway (photo below), and we’re now preparing to begin trimming the 550 seats as well. Photos: Finished carbon shells (stacked) Trim process for 355 seat (same spec as original carbon seat) Foam shaping nearly complete, based on OEM dimensions As always, the goal is 100% OEM accuracy or better, using ultra-lightweight carbon and period-correct details. Thanks for the continued support and messages, I’ll share trimmed 550 seats as soon as they’re ready. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Update on Ferrari 550 Carbon Seat Project – CarbonSeats.com Quick production update on our OEM-spec carbon seat reproductions for the 550 Maranello. We’ve just completed the clear coat stage for the first shells, and I’m really pleased with the finish and carbon quality. These are not just visual replicas, the molds are based on original seats and aim to deliver 100% accuracy in geometry, proportions, and surface detail. Like the originals, they’re trimmed per order with correct hides and feature the embossed Cavallino and proper stitch layout. I have now waited 180 days ( 6 months)…and still same story. When I was sold these seats I was told by REZA that it would take 30-40 days…… I have read in this post positive comments of the person…but my experience with this transaction has been completely different. Misleaded when I placed order, many, many excuses given by the seller and still no exact date as when they will be shipped. This is not “normal”. And….still, have not seen ONE example delivered…..
