HI Lando LOL --Dunne's been circulating on a set of used softs, and climbs up to fourth, 0.069s off Piastri in third - this is quite impressive in his first effort in an F1 FP1 session.

True - if he wins F2 he should do a year as reserve and be in a Jr team before moving up. Lando should be worried but not just yet. Who knows what Oscar will do if he wins the WDC this year. Drive 1 more year and leave? Lots of options for him as a WDC. He might not desire 20 years of F1 lol.

Right? How many times this year have we seen Hamilton involved with some sort of impeding? Yet I do not recall a single penalty.

Be interesting to see what tomorrow brings to the McLaren/Red Bull/Mercedes fight for the rest of the season. Sad to see how compromised F1 racing has become due to the restrictions on open testing both before and during the season. The dependance on simulators only proves that you can't depend on simulators. The economic and moral corruption of F1 now permeates every level of the sport, to the point that it is doubtful it will ever recover or survive. For all the primitive quality of F1 pre-2000 media coverage, someone should gather up the rights to it and begin replaying the seasons and races in some form of chronological order. I would instantly pay to watch that and totally dump all modern F1. Oh yes, Ferrari showed up this weekend.

 

Someone that exposed just how fast and easy that McLaren is to drive.

 

It looks like the floor upgrade didn't make a great improvement in the car. Hopefully, things will improve for Ferrari in the qualifying tomorrow.
