You should be, OB. It looks great, especially with your upgraded brakes and Challenge wheels!

Saw your ride there. I didn't get to say hi because my daughter was ready to go. I had HG do my 348 with the same set as you.

HG is A+ and the setup is 10 out of 10. Would recommend!

This looks stunning . I've been contemplating getting a Black paint for my Rosso Corsa but being told a proper job will be in the range of USD 25000 approx., if Ferrari or top level shops were to do it by disassembling the whole car so paint could be done inside out. Can I ask what it cost? How laborious was it .
I'm not sure how many will agree but 348 was made to be black. It becomes a weapon , compact , sportier and very 'dangerous' looking in Black. Luv it ! Well done pal !

^Black does look good, but it also loses visibility for lines and curves and especially the side strakes - that's why I ranked black out of my list of possible colors. But as said, that's just my opinion and we're lucky to have multitude of colors to choose from.

Starting scheduled service. Step 1: detach drivers door:

The car came ~40 cm back after that and the door would be blocked by the lift post. It's quite easy to take the door off and maintain reasonable access to the interior while servicing, so we decided to do so.

Image Unavailable, Please Login I didn’t take it, yesterday. But I think it looks good in black. I might like blue better but black is my second fav 348 color.

After detaching the door, the next logical step is to detach the powerline (well yeah, in between there was some smallies like bumper, exhaust etc). Also a happy wide doing her first Ferrari Major:

It's actually the first Ferrari major for me too, but as I'm holding the phone, I'm not in the picture. As this is also the cars first major during our ownership, I decided to take the longer way and do a proper service and check the upcoming surprises.

Nothing technically really alarming yet, but annoying yes. The last ****er doing this has had way too much glue to spare:

There are actual gaskets available and they are not even expensive. There's absolutely no need for extensive seal-gluing stuff like this, but it was a slight PITA to get the cam covers off.

I'll probably write longer story of the service when it's done and the car runs again.

Happy wife, not wide. Luckily she has good sense of humour and laughed as she pointed out my typo.
