I would suspect an A Model Ford engine ; perhaps original equipment Note the 'V8' hubcaps IIRC it gets along very nicely !
It's a 1929 Model A, with the original flathead 4. There's a surprising complexity to early Ford history. The V8 appeared in 1932, with a different chassis and body.
I and many other folk use toothpicks after a meal. If at home or away with one or other of my Swiss Army knives I use the plastic t/pick in the knife. After a time they wear down and become unusable . This was the case recently and I bought two of off Ebay as I had done some years ago.
