Cant remember if this was posted, but some great views of the F80, and of course my favorite, vintage Ferrari's.
When I spend this amount of money I want to give it to someone who has an army behind them and they will be here for a long time to come, these small boutique manufacturers could fizzle with the owners, it's a one man's dream you are being asked to buy into, also I have heard some horror stories and definitely it's a very strong no thank you!
Not to mention patience... The Koenigsegg Gemera was launched in 2020 - due to delays, the customers with late slots are starting to look at delivery dates well into 2030. It takes a special kind of person, patience and I suppose appetite for risk to buy from such small boutique manufacturers
There have been numerous Ferrari without a chrome cavallino... the testarossa had a black cavallino, and the 348 only had the rectangular badge at the front. I think the chrome cavallino was actually introduced (as a generic feature) only in the 90s.
In the mean time your substantial deposit is financing the operation of the company, as I said No thanks!
The F80 nomenclature was used for the first time in a Ferrari car in 2024. However, this very same nomenclature has been used in 2007 on a CD player, DVD player and radio licensed by Ferrari, which is called the Meridien Ferrari F80 and has the cavallino emblem. I suppose that when Luca di Montezemolo licensed this hi-fi system he never imagined that the successor to the LaFerrari would use the same nomenclature. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have one of these, it sounds great! I also liked when they parked a 599 next to one of those beautiful DSP 8000 speakers and the photograph featured its reflection.
Will find out if that’s true or not. I ordered a Gemera and put deposit down end of April last year. I’m being asked to complete my spec so I assume production is soon - maybe late this year early next year- we shall see. I’m ok with that - limited edition hypercars and cars like Singer and GMA typically now seem to have a wait of around 2 years or so. But at least you get a truly bespoke car which, is something Tailor Made doesn’t deliver in my experience. By early 27 I’ll see if they all deliver on their promised times. If you meet the men behind these cars, you will see true passion as I’m sure Enzo had. Ferrari passion is a bit like Elvis these days, it’s left the building!
