Lewis is an influential fashion and lifestyle leader. Ferrari intentionally "bought a package" when they hired him.

Ferrari has changed beyond recognition from when you could buy the cars that won the races and that was all they were. As we all moan and groan about, Ferrari has become something different than "just" a car company. The reality is that all car companies are becoming "lifestyle" companies; people are just not interested in cars the same way they used to be.

I just returned from Milan (and Modena). Below is the only photo I took of the Ferrari store. There was almost nothing for "car guys" in the store; it was all fashion. (There were still automobile related trinkets in the Ferrari Museum Store in Maranello.)

I totally agree about the Milan Ferrari Store... its all for young rich people.... I dont know who they are, but they are making this stuff for someone. I did like the models down stairs... but that was it. its sad that Ferrari is not for Car guys/ People any more.
