    I have a doubt:
    1) car harness from left side has a blue plug…. right harness has a black plug….
    2) The angolar sensor on LEFT 164083 ( blue mark) angular sensor goes installed on the left side AND connected to the RIGHT harness. correct?
    3) do i connect left harness with blue plug to left 164083 marked blue angolar sensor? or the left harness with blue plug goes connected to 164082 RIGHT sensor?
    4) I do know that right angolar sensor is for banks 7-12 and left angolar sensor for banks 1-6

sorry, but colors on plugs are confusing us.

    let me know

I'm not sure about the colours and I don't know if it's possible to mount the blue and black plugs in the wrong locations.

I can only suggest doing wiring continuity checks between those plugs and the ECUs o_O Unfortunately, even if you could see the wiring, the wire colours are the same on both sensors.

Maybe someone has a photo of their plugs?

According to the Eurospares website, the crank sensor on the left hand side of the car is the blue one, like this:

Are you saying there are different colours on the mating plugs?

this answers my questions!.. definetly the blue color tag on the sensor DOES NOT identifies to which side the sensor goes… thus, my LEFT blue plug from the harness, WILL connect to the blue marked SENSOR. I will install that sensor then on right hand side and connect to LEFT blue plug.
    Thanks!!

Nick, is your photo taken looking forward?

I see your blue plugs are on the left of the gearbox, not as shown in my diagram.

@rcgalore Is there any difference in length between the blue and the black plug sensors?

Just a PSA the Kia sensors we used on the 348 work with slightly different routing of cables, on the 550 maranello. I have run them about 20 years on one car and about 5 on another. They work perfect and don't disintegrate like the oem ferrari sensor. The Kia are bulletproof and last forever!

It was just that there are different part numbers for the L/R sensors and I saw a photo of a pair of sensors and one of the sensor leads was coiled up. It may still be the same length, but it was hard to tell.

I suppose the different part numbers could just be due to the fact that one has a blue collar on the plug.

(EDIT: looking at other photos, they seem to be the same length... Ignore my previous message)
