Sound will suffer more and more due to the number of units and emission standards. Listen to an SF90 during a cold start and you'll know what it sounds like when the exhaust flaps are open.
day355 said that they were testing new turbos for 296M which certainly means electric turbos. If the lower range gets it I can imagine that the high range will get it as well.
Roma have this ugly front grill https://www.topgear.com/sites/default/files/2023/07/Ferrari%20Roma%20076.jpg
Thank you for your response. The V8 engine in the SF90 produces approximately 770 horsepower. If electric turbochargers were incorporated, how much additional horsepower could be expected, aside from the reduction in turbo lag?
I really don’t know but i am sure that day355 could answer . The actual powertrain could produce at least 1200hp and if you add electric turbos Mamma Mia!!
Yep, we'll see! Allow me to add a caveat to my previous post; If they add the black front stripe, then my guess is a 50/50. SF90's front will be preferred, whereas the SF90 Replacement's non-pig-looking rear will be preferred.
I think it depends on price and production of sf90 M. If they over price it and limit production, I do feel more people will see the value of current sf90 and pricing will stabilize. But if they have the same type of production numbers as current model than that won't bode well for the standard sf90.
Yes, I agree, the rear only became really attractive with the SF90 XX. But I still think the rear of the SF90 is much better than the 296.
there is no reason to build SF90 replacment, if V6 is enough for hyper F80 then 296 replacment with electric turbos should be top performence car for non limited Ferraris, SF90 should be replaced with vintage car, NA V8 engine, less aero more beuty, so called SP3 for non vip clients
Ferrari is listening to customer feedback - haptic controls gone on Amalfi and talk of steering wheel retrofits for older models coming. I am looking forward to seeing how they solve the luggage problem in SF90 replacement which is my #1 practicality issue - we may see a similar solution to F80 with solid rear window and luggage space at high level behind occupants although SF90 should have more space. Also, front motors should be smaller now 6yrs since SF90 was launched
Or as an SF90 hope it is, I think SF90AF is great looking and perfect mix of usable sports car. The XX is nice but I would rather have my SF90 Spider long term over XX coupe. The M - no one knos but expect a big 100hp gain and maybe 296VS aero.
The SF90 XX is two categories better than the SF90 Spider in every respect. The brakes, the performance and the sound are brilliant.
Because of the EU regulations, what do you mean by so bad, an SF90 sounds better than a Ferrari F8 at least.
