    The late Greg Garrison sold it to Bob Lee of Sparks, Nevada, back in 2004. Greg got it from Peter Sachs in the '80s who got it from Don Dethlefsen in '78.

    RM Sotheby's a week ago tried to sell two Daytonas from the Robert Lee collection (don't know the results). Several more cars will be put up for Monterey auction including Duesenberg J Walker-LaGrande and MB 500K Special Roadster.

    I see they added A-pillars at ends of the windshield to support what I thought was originally pillarless, cantilever roof design.
    I wonder how many broken windshields it took to reach that decision and when was this modification first implemented ?
