    The tire carcass towards the end was in a really dark spot and in the middle of the track. Someone would have nailed that thing at some point at caused a bigger issue. I am fine with that one having been a caution. But it could have been a 2 min caution...

    Watkins Glen? I just read it was FCY for 2:53 of the 6 hour event. That's not racing.

    Yes, but.....there were 10 caution periods, during which the fast class was bunched up behind the leader(other classes, too), after being allowed to pass slower class(es). This effectively negated any advantage a faster car had over others. And that's not racing.
    I'm pretty sure you know all this.
