Hard to tell when you mix and match. Ferrari changed the mufflers on the 575M when they went to straight pipes to ensure there was no resonance. Just changing to straight pipes and original early 575M mufflers can lead to resonance, but that does not bother some owners. The H pipes definitely cut down on resonance compared to straight pipes and some owners prefer the sound of the H-pipe or even an X pipe. X-pipes cost a small amount of HP, but some owners like the sound better. The original center resonators incorporate an X-pipe.

Exhaust sound is so personal, difficult to predict exactly what someone will like. I am running Fabio's headers, cats, an H-pipe, and SS over the axle pipe with OEM Superamerica HGTC mufflers. Will likely swap out the HGTC mufflers for Fabio's eventually. She sounds glorious now, with only a little cold resonance around 2500 rpm.

I have the Supersprint over the axle pipe on my 575 as well. I did not appreciate a change in the sound with them installed but they are *definitely* are less restrictive then the OEM over axle pipes. I had mine Cerakote coated as overkill too.

That said, I am pulling them and will be selling this summer if anyone is interested. I think I have like $850 total in them given the cerakote/shipping/etc. Not sure what I would sell them for but definitely would end up cheaper given no tariff/shipping overseas/etc, lol.

Thank you both and I certainly agree.

Best approach I was able to think of was to repost the video of the titanio 575, which I like the sound of. Omar guessed that may be Tubis with midpipe still in place. If I go that route I hope my resonator and 575 specific Tubis get me close enough.

The birthing shots you first posted are the best pictures you'll ever take of your car.

Congratulations, Payman! Drive it in good health.

The 575 definitely needs more than a center resonator delete and rear valves opened. It does help but every V8 Ferrari and Maserati I’ve owned has sounded better.
    How is that possible?
If I had to rank them I’d say the Maserati sounds best followed by a carbed 77 308 with Stebro exhaust tho it sounded better even with the Thermal Reactor. Then the NA California, a F.I. 308QV with Ansa and finally my 03 575M.
I’m surprised the number of cylinders and the Flat Plane Crank don’t have that much to do with sound.

Interesting though I do give credit to Ferrari for keeping true to the GT concept.
