According to the Top Gear review of the Amalfi, the steering wheel, with physical buttons, will be available for retrofit to the 296 and SF90. Can anyone confirm this? What is the cost?
Fake news. There is no eManetino on Amalfi wheel. Can’t work. I think retrofitting another possible wheel will cost many Lira. chet
They are admitting they made a mistake with the haptics. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/ferrari-reintroduces-physical-buttons-interior-rethink
Its good news they are doing this, and that it seems it won't be a full steering wheel replacement, rather the central area gets swapped out, Im hoping the price won't be as high as some have estimated, but neither shall I hold my breath!
Whilst it's by no means ideal, I don't have a particular issue with the touch buttons and the more I use it the more comfortable it becomes. I'd still prefer physical buttons though and will definitely consider a swap if it becomes available.

The way it will work it is not a new wheel as such. , it is the area of the buttons on either side , the E manettino and the manettino will remain . The cost ? Expect 10 k plus , nothing is cheap with our beloved brand
The start button on the Amalfi covers half of the area where the e-manettino functions go, so they will have to move those buttons or move the physical start button to where the haptic start button is. If they, in fact, do have this unreleased wheel, it is a bit strange that they released the 296 Speciale with a halfway house wheel… Alternatively, they could put the e-manettino functions in the menus…
It appears it’s not a whole wheel swap but rather the center trim. Hopefully that’ll cut down on expense
I swapped a non led roma wheel for a led one and it was 30k but this is so much less work and it’s been a pain point. I am hoping that it’s sub 5k.
