Ok what’s everyone running for tires? Looking at the 215 70 15 size.

My favorite setup is TRX rims, newly released TRX tires

My worst experience : Vredstein 15''. Altgough these do perform well on Longstone lightweight test cars, they crumble under the load of the 365. My brother's car was less scary with its 10 years old Michelin tires.

So you do not need the best tire, but rather the best tire for THIS car. (I would just choose the tires with the strongest sidewalls.)

Car has the center lock wheels so can’t really change rims for the TRX.

I Know so that' why I talked about my Brother's 365. On his cars the Michelin were better than Vredstein. Maybe someone can comment on the Pirellis?

If it were my car I would try to shoe-horn the xwx 225/70/15.

Wonder if anyone has put the 225s on? Really only 5mm wider on each side. It looks like they would probably work ok. I always thought the car looks under tired with the 215s. How wide are the TRXs?

    TRX are 240 , diameter is 678mm (240x55x~16.3''')
    Xwx 215 are 683mm
    xwx 225 would be 696mm

I think some members used 235mm tires on the repro 16'' rims.
