Any idea if the original part was a "York" compressor, with a "Baruffaldi" clutch?

Photos and model number(s) for this application, or other automobiles (non Ferrari) that carried same? Potentially Alfa of the period, had same?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Alberto

Yes, used in (tens of ?) millions of vehicles from 1950's to 1980's manufactured around the globe with countless big and/or small application variations depending on makes, models & years.

You have to reconfigure the clutch links for opposite rotation direction.

Can it be done? Thank you for the great tip. There is an Alfa one available from an acquaintance yet ignore compatibility.

Thank you, but which is the correct one, besides the reversing the clutch links?

    Yet to be fully determined.
I've always managed to service/rebuild existing/OEM compressors as needed.
