I am having a problem……. tried starting car today …it cranks..but does not starts…..I checked the Coil packs…and I have spark on plugs on coil pack fro banks 7-12, but no spark on coil pack plugs on bank 1-6…. do have positive power on plug that goes to coil pack bank 1-6.. I tried an extra coil pack I have on bank 1-6 and same problem…no spark… What might it be?

Are the injectors working? Fuel pump?

I think you said you've changed the crank sensor, so I'm assuming that's ok.

Sounds like an ECU issue or timing sensor ... or something is not plugged in... or something is plugged into the wrong slot.

(EDIT: re the last... we've seen folks mix up cam sensor and knock sensor plugs on 355's and 360's. I don't know if this is a possibility on 550's)

1-6 is the passenger side using the passenger side ECU about where the passenger right foot would be below the A-piller. The A-piller on passenger side leaks water from rain and washing. Check the passenger ECU by taking it out and looking for corrosion on the ECU and plug pins.

passenger footwell swap relay b with o...they are 7/12 and 1/6 injector control. fusebox internals are always suspect. A few of us have completely rewired or changed them

I just noticed something odd in the Ferrari wiring diagrams. Looks like they've made an error. The RH (1~6) coil pack gets its power directly from the key via pin 11 of a plug above the ECU. Key power also goes to pin 11 of the plug above the LH ECU, but it goes no further in the wiring diagrams. It's like they forgot to draw a wire in. There is another wiring anomaly in the coil pack wiring, so I'm assuming they have drawn it incorrectly.

Anyway, coil pack power is not an issue, so @fatbillybob 's suggestion sounds good. The RH injector relay provides power to the injectors, fuel pump relay coil, secondary air pump relay coil, RH O2 sensor heating, MAF (on the left hand side), RH idle speed regulator, cam sensor, RH Cat Thermocouple ECU, RH Anti-Evaporation Solenoid, the Modular Manifold Solenoid Valve, the RH Check Engine Light and probably a few other things I haven't thought of.

To check the relay panel for power output from the injector relay, go to pin 8 and 9 of plug J

i found relay for 7-12 bank ( B) that the 86 prong was retracted inside the relay. Apparently when I installed, as the fuse board was new, I installed wrong. See relay at right of photo.

That's incredible.... and sad build quality, but hopefully the root cause of your issues.

Thanks Ian for your time and sharing those wiring diagrams too. For many of us, they are more valuable than you could possibly realize
