USA federal law is 8 years for all electric and hybrid drivetrains. Apparently Ferrari gets an exemption because of the low volume. Ferrari provides 7 years per their warranty book.

    296. Better sound, faster, more nimble, puts power down better, better steering. Modern interior. More warranty and free service is a bonus. Just better.

Looks subjective. I prefer the 296 and find the F8 too busy/ fussy. Regardless- I still like the F8- especially in black which tones it down.

Here is an interesting plot of the listing price of all the cars that have been listed for sale in the last 3 months. Looks the the 296s are not doing well vs the F8s. That mirrors what the general feeling is here. I'm surprised at the difference between the F8s and the 488s though.

This chart also shows that F8 prices are holding up really well with most listing for above MSRP. The 296s are averaging -10.9% depreciation and thats just on the listed price. I suspect buyers are getting much higher discounts off the asking than on the other models.

One gets more car with the 296 - one may still prefer the F8, but logically the F8 should be priced lower. However, these are not utility cars, so the market is immune to logic.
