    A question for Walnut:

    As the shagreen is wrapped round the case, does it create voids around the nodules? If so, would you use a varnish or something else to fill them?

    The nodules don’t have too much space between, at least not so much as to feel uncomfortable in my hand. I had never thought about putting a lawyer or varnish on to fill and strengthen the material though.

    I guess I have more research to do!
