Yes, but why is a Purosangue msrp in the US so much more expensive than in Europe, the options are enormously expensive, a same Purosangue costs about $100K msrp less in Europe.
Pricing is different in different markets and once set doesn’t generally move with exchange rate fluctuations. Fairly common for all car companies I think.
Paying for air freight only to flip it with 90 miles on the odometer... <Insert head scratcher emoji>
I missed that....the buyer definitely got an allocation for something special to pay for all that and drive it only 90 miles.....
I am hearing that Ferrari is planning a 10% price increase on the Purosangue for the coming year. Additionally, buyers in the USA should expect another 5% price increase to cover tariffs. Is anyone hearing the same?
This sounds about right, hard to imagine they will sell a single car given what the car already costs, but what do I know?
Idk what the production volume is or allocation to USA. If in the thousands every year, the Puro has a chance to experience very high depreciation.
They said it would never be more than 20% of production. If production = 14k units, then worldwide production would be 2,800. NA market usually gets about 30% of production so that means about 840 cars per year. Right now we have 2023, 2024, 2025 year production. So by the end of this year youd think we have about 2,500 cars here. In this market, that is a lot. However, I don’t think we have that many, it doesn’t feel like we do. It feels to me more like we have about 1,500 cars here. It seems they have been a bit slow to produce, relative to other models, historically, the 4 seater was always a slow seller also. Now factor in tariffs and also a weaker dollar, they will still make their money, but I can see reasons to allocate more volume to other markets.
It doesn't seem many have shipped so far, they have been dripping out. I believe if we had over 1000 there would be a lot more for sale.
I know several people with these vehicles who love them and dont plan to sell, at least not any time soon….
I had one for the long weekend. Put about 200 miles incldung a long drive. Family found it comfortable. I liked it more than my old v12 lusso. The steering, handling, braking, gear changes…everything is sharper on the puro. The sound was also great. I would put an exhaust on it just to get the visceral v12 noise. It doesnt need one as its fine for a daily. Overall an excellent car/suv. Nothing beats a ferrari v12. What an engine even with these gpfs.
Mine is supposed to be here this week but no word from my dealer. Im sure I'll be told last minute and I'll likely be traveling.
I'm in the auto sector in western Europe, so, one of my collaborators still offer build slots for Purosangue with extra premium Not yet completely sold out,as someone mentioned in previous posts here Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’m hearing dealers are offering discounts for slots, anyone looking to sell a slot at a premium I think is delusional, sorry.
Yes,this is true, but in this case the offer it comes from unofficial seller/trader with very minimal premium. The rumors all around were that there where no any slots available for this model -Northern America, Europe, Asia.. Also, this gives opportunity to everyone who is new in the brand to order directly without dealer games and previous story ,so ,it is 50:50 for me It's certainly not a profitable deal, but new customers are appearing all the time and paying immediately
I think that in the future Purosangue with the V12 is in much better position to keep better value than the Urus with V8 tt who share the same platform with Audi and Porsche ,but also is in massive massive production (more than 60.000 units until now).I see them everywhere in western, eastern Europe and the Lambo badge lose prestige very quickly in my opinion
At least in the US, they still seem to be selling for about a $50k premium used. Will be interesting to see how long this lasts.
50k dollars premium USED in US, ha ha.. Thank you ,good to know about the US market Image Unavailable, Please Login
