Does anyone know the purpose of the electrical socket in the glove box on the 348?
Not aware of an electrical socket on the glovebox. Perhaps it was added by a previous owner to power an accessory
The electrical socket is shown in the wiring schematics, powered by fuse 3. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234123952604 Image Unavailable, Please Login Could that be for the optional torch?
I have the emergency lamp. I honestly don't recall a socket in my glovebox. I'm going to have to go home and look now. I have a 91' TS - Wondering if they were added in later years?
My RHD has it too. It lights up the glove box. FERRARI quoted me $AU$ 1200 to replace with new wiring frame as the glove box light wouldn't switch off . So I got the bulb removed
We are talking about the socket for power supply to accessories (emergency lamp on a long cable in this case), not about the glovebox light.
