    Not saying it can't be done, but apparently the engineers & fabricators at PF failed to "get it right".

    Cool design idea though.

    This reminded me of a similarly intriguing glass project I was approached with couple of decades ago, but before we got to the "brass tacks" of it all, the project car changed hands and/or restorers who ended up taking a different approach by making modifications & eliminating some of the original design & coachwork features, presumably to make the job easier to accomplish & eliminating a need of assistance from someone like me.
    And despite of all this, she still won BoS at Pebble. :rolleyes:

    If i well remember it has been painted 3 times, minimum. Also the idea to replace the blue stripe under the door with a grey stripe, came from the period color photos (but they are faded....). The reality is a more balanced mix between the 2 tones of colour.
