What about the launch color verde Nurburgring? Which cost class is this in?
Really? Is there a recent example of a car that had a unique metallic launch color and it was cheaper than other special colors?
If you order blu Corsa, I believe it will be $38k or so. I’m not positive, but I think that’s where it is priced now. When we ordered our 296 gtb last year, it was priced as a launch color and around $13k.
Has anyone seen Rosso Supercar in person (e.g., on an F80)? How does it compare to the other 3/4 layer reds like Magma and Maranello?
It’s like a slightly less saturated Magma with maybe a little less flake to it. A subtler color, maybe slightly subtler. Id need to see it again.
Not at all. Apologies in advance for being literal, but, “better” and “worse” are subjective terms. Thats something for you to decide. I can only guess they were trying to find a color thats something in between the traditional Rosso Corsa and the “show car” type color of Rosso Magma- and I think Rosso Supercar achieves this. I am sure some F80 buyers will want to be fairly traditional, as they may have the other Ferrari Supercars in their collection. Rosso Supercar will blend better, yet still be a standout color. Im not even sure if they will allow Rosso Supercar on any other car aside from the F80. For the Speciale, my own preference would lean towards to Rosso Magma- notice, I didn’t say “better”
Rosso supercar is looking great and very dynamic in the videos from Goodwood FOS, but I'm not sure how much of that is HDR video and reality. For the most part, colors like Magma are not captured well in video, but here this one is. Is it a dynamic color? I'm considering it for the SA, and maybe doing a red and black seat as well.
I believe I read someone else post on the forums recently that Atelier/TM said it will be restricted to F80 for a while. It always seems like a grey area on this type of thing depending on the customer, but I hope any restriction is short lived. The color seems really well done and would change my thinking for how I spec my 12C. I love magma, but as you noted, supercar seems to hit the sweet spot between classic and showcar.
