I can see it now. Emelia Hartford creates first twin supercharged zr1x. Next video adds nitrous!

 

The GM engineers had the track to themselves yesterday (6/24) and will have it again on Friday. I assume GM will publish times for the Z06 and ZR1 but not the ZR1X, as the ZR1X is not a production car.

I’m guessing we’ll see these times in the next few weeks.

Cannot believe it will beat amg1. It has the power but not the aero or weight plus on same tires.

I agree. The AMG 1 time is amazing. My question is: Is it really a “production” car? You never hear a word about it…
I think the ZR1 will beat all the Porsche GT times, and the Z06 will best the GTD time. There will be NO published ZR1X time as the car is not in production.

Chevy communicates to dealers that some 2025 ZR1 will be re-submitted as 2026 orders because they cannot get all 310 orders completed by August when 2026 model year starts. Factory is closed first two weeks of July.

Are those the carbon fiber wheels?

 

Nope. Ordered it without the carbon wheels. Has everything else. Had the carbon wheels on the z06.

 

Orlando FL .... super HOT & HUMID so numbers are not the best. big wing doesn't help
(AWD ZR1X will be better match for awd Lambo)

What's really strange is it 110-115 yesterday I think and I had a hard time getting the car over 176 degree in water temp. Now all we did was take it off the truck... Down the street... And then ooogle it and then took it for a 5 mile drive. But I expected it to get right up to temp especially with that amount of "beans" I was giving it

 

the left lane was consistently faster.

Yep. Turbos perform better in cooler air. Also, the surface being “slippery” due to the hot temps favors an AWD car. So this is kind of a best case scenario test favoring the Rev vs. the ZR1.

Why would someone pay that money for this car unless it is on MSO? If the car is used then no warranty. Is this still a new car?

How was ZR1 not at goodwood? Very disappointing and doesn't bode well for nring. Gtd ran the hill

They had a right hand drive eRay at Goodwood.
The C8 ZR1 will not be sold in Europe.

 

Just not worth the effort. Also likely the team had to choose to send them to Germany or send them to goodwood.
