I am certain that you know this color combination harkens back to the days of the 250 GTO and Testarossa. It speaks to me because of that, and I am sure others admire it for that (as well as other things). I think its absolutely smashing, but no one says I am the authority.

With that said... Its hard to deny ~ that it is so very good.

Its not bad, but the red stitching was an odd choice. The exterior really doesn't suit the car IMO, but im sure the quality is top notch.

Major red flag for me that the sub-chassis says repaired not replaced (structural integrity design is based on virgin metal).....and the frame aligner used may not be the best choice for a Ferrari according to one commenter.

CarFax is funny though, in one place it lists damage between minor and moderate.....and in other places severe (the obvious right answer).

Will be interested to see where it sells at.

I just bought this car in May. It's currently at 12,013 miles and drives like an absolute dream after a major service. The car sat for approximately 7 years so I had a major service performed and then a used car inspection at Ferrari Silicon Valley. They said it's one of the cleanest CS' they've seen in a while.

Of course there is a premium for the spec.

Chopped in half is a gross exaggeration.

That's still not "chopped in half"... thats not the "front frame" you're thinking of. It's actually the part from the level in that picture forward.

“Complete front frame, firewall forward”. Pretty simple to see what’s what based on the invoice for a used front clip along with looking at where the seam sealer is applied after they welded it up.

Regardless of the semantics over the degree of severe damage, I think most would agree that car was very (very) well sold.

Leave it to the Ferrari community to gripe about a result that only stands to strengthen the value of their own cars.
