I agree. The whole market is moving up. Look at what a gt3rs costs after dealer markup. I'm still getting one.
what happens if the tariff is reduced after people have taken delivery and paid it....early delivery guys pay the tariff and the guys who get later cars pay less if the tariff is removed? Most likely, Ferrari raises the prices and keeps the difference.
Congrats on your RS. I ponder passing on the 296 S and getting one as well. Money aside, the GT3rs is the best iteration of the road/ race car ever created. Taking money into consideration, there are 992 3RS selling in the mid $300s....
There is no tariff included in the price.... the pdf clearly shows there is an additional "tariff contribution" of 8,5%. The reason they don't bake it into the base price is so that additional charge can be modified easily...
Thank you for clearing a lot of this up. I am going to ask my dealer what the standard options are. This morning he was still having issues with their configurator. Seems like they also added surround view which I don’t have on my 296. If I am able to get a pdf of the options I’ll post. The 40k added could be mitigated quickly if I choose Giallo Modena instead of Giallo Triplo Strato. I was also considering Rosso Magma or Supercar.
