I live 50 miles west of Lake Bluff and at 9:00am yesterday, It was raining cats & dogs. Can not tell by your pictures, but was this Caffeine and Cavallinos indoors? I'm miffed that I missed both Ferrari of Lake Forest events open to us "little people" this summer.

    :(

It was the Caffeine and Cavallinos, and it was indoors and outdoors. Rain started a little after 1100 at the dealer. I left at 1100 and went to my favorite Ferrari location 15 miles west of Lake Forest.

Also Oshkosh is this week. A few special aircraft on display this week are a U2, Connie, fresh from restoration P38 and P47, OV10A and a DC8-72. That any hundreds of other warbirds and thousand aircraft total. It is a massive display of aircraft. If you are a pilot or just love airplanes this is a must see event.

The best weekend of racing is coming up at Road America, the best race track in North America. IMSA comes to town with factory race teams. I want to see the Aston Martin Valkyrie race version in action, and it will be there along with all the race Ferrari 296 GT3's, prototype cars and Corvette race cars along with many other factory teams.

Geneva is kind of dull again this year. Mostly really old American cars mixed with Muscle cars and a few new supercars and Porsches. I think Fuelfed and Supercar Saturday is more exciting!!

At least it’s not armpit leaking heat humidity like the past few years at the concourse.

The Merc and Horch were very nice. Several 246's, and many new Ferrari's, aka supercars.

I never went to the Klairmont place, my son went once and referred to it as underfunded.
When you drive around the North Shore and see building after building with the word Imperial on them, he was that guy.
It is a few blocks from a couple of my apartment buildings in Kelvyn Park.
I guess his billionaire kids were like, why are we keeping this stupid thing open?

I appreciate your contributions to F-Chat.

It looks like Joel Weinberger has something in store for Continental AutoSports 50th.

The next two weeks we have Fuelfed events in Winnetka and Hinsdale, leading to the end of September 2025 Ferrari Fuelfed in downtown Winnetka.

Also Road America SVRA vintage in mid September.
