Hi all, I have a 296 GTB on order. Was originally supposed to arrive roughly in April. I received the final production photo some time in May. No updates since. I suspect it’s arrived at the port, wondering if tariffs negotiations are causing delays. What is the usual time from photo to delivery? Bit bummer as summer is flying by.
Ask your dealer the Status code in the Ferrari system. Status Code | Stage Description W | Waiting List P | Approved by Dealer 00 | Approved by Subsidiary 10G | Approved by HQ 10R | Printed (No more changes) 20 | Chassis Assembly aka Lastratura 30 | Painting 40 | Body work inserted 50 | Body on 60 | Overhaul 70 | Finishing 85 | In factory storage awaiting shipment 90 | Factory Shipment / In Transit 91 | At Port / Arrived at Subsidiary 92 | PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) completed at Subsidiary 93 | Subsidiary Shipment / Transport to Dealer 94 | Dealer Accepted 95 | Marketing If your dealer doesn't have it, the best update you want to hear is that it's Status 93 aka on its way. Worst case would be Status 85, which means the cars sitting around in Italy waiting for a shipping slot. Lots of cars destined for US dealers had been stuck at Status 91 for 3-6 months. Mine was at Status 91 from 5/8 to 7/7.

I've had a deposit on a 296 GTS since July of 2022 and my app lists that I have been on the Waiting List. We completed the final spec on the car in late June so I've been checking My Ferrari app every so often. While checking my Ferrari app this this morning I noticed that a VIN is now being shown. From your experience where in the process above would that place me? Such as 00? thanks
According to my SA, the app will always say "Waiting List" until the car has been delivered, so it's not any indication of actual status. I'd suggest calling your dealer and asking them for your status, since it's the only way to reliably find out where your car is in production. Once it hits 91, it means it arrived in port. From there, it can be super variable in terms of how long it sits there. Mine went 91 on July 17, and shipped out to the dealer somewhere around August 27th. I think I got lucky, given some of the other stories I've heard... Best of luck with the wait - it can be brutal, although I'm sure it'll be worth it!!!
