I have done 15 laps + consecutively in the SF90 with zero issues and I could’ve kept going but I didn’t want to burn a full set of tyres that day since I had the Challenge there, who said a SF90 is good for two laps? That’s a bit silly TBH

My dealer ( I actually don’t think he has any idea) quoted me 4th quarter 2026 for my Speciale Aperta delivery when I signed the contract.

Just got back from Evoluzione, and observed this all day long when comparing data from different drivers in the same car. Brakes are no comparison between any of the road cars and the Challenge cars. It’s an unfair comparison in many ways, but it makes me appreciate what we have on the road cars even more!

Added full Manthey - will be a lot of fun to track, ordering GT2RS est 900 hp
Don't have the time to track cars with Ferrari - Porsche makes more sense.
SF90AF - an older model now is still my preferencer, the XX the AF package will age very well.

To be fair- the GT3RS has crazy aero. Ferraris have always traded style/ looks (instead of crazy aero) for performance at the limit. These are still street cars and most buyers prefer the style more than the last ounce of performance. IMO.

I don't believe anyone has actually ordered yet. I have a meeting with Antelier in the middle of September and will place the order just after. Coupes are supposed to start delivery early CY 26 but not sure about USA.

Doing TM early September, and by choosing all of the interior carbon fiber, I'll save tons!

Always - enter XX F80, everyone configures their cars inside and out to their style of use.
Last ounce of performance - owners are putting race stripes and numbers on anything and everything, there's a reason and it ain't cheap.
Fast forward - Ferrari hyper club 200k buy in - you get the honor of paying for each and every item :) begged for carbon package on XX, limited to very few. GT3RS is legit - something to be said, if Ferrari said 50k for a winged VS - guarantee the majority would buy it. GT3RS has expectations - Ferrari is like a box of chocolates, after AF came the XX and VS and next up M series for both, the F80 is far from the LaF - love it but a V6?

Zero chance its doing that if driving fast. If you are just playing around and coasting into turns, yeah sure but no way otherwise. 4k+ lbs and superfast = brake fade. Additionally, tires will be toast after a few laps. All depends if you push or not.

I thought Senna brakes were a big deal. Mac went on and on about them and I ordered them on 765LT. SF90 brakes are better, no idea how or why. Fortis owns Lambo SCV12 - he knows what's what :) I get what you are saying, SF90 is magical and I have no clue how.- it's the car I wanted to hate and 296 is no different. Look at Vette run at the Ring 6:40's tires and brakes were fine 4100 pounds. My only guess is traction control spares these tires to less wear.

Doesn't matter what you own, only matters if you can drive. I have the Senna brakes on my 765 and they are pretty good, the big difference is stopping 3k lbs vs 4k+. I have no hate for any of these cars but I know reality. Personally, I won't drive any street cars on the track anymore, unless im taking someone on a joyride.
Enough of this, everyone is free to believe whatever they like, makes no difference to me.

I’m that guy who goes to the track and doesn’t push it. I like to literally push hard for maybe 2 laps and then it’s 85%. I just don’t see the point, they’re too expensive on consumables and the risk - reward for going to the edge is awful.

Which is totally fine and lots of fun but if you are pushing these cars they won't last long with stock brakes and street tires.

I would rather track the more but it needs more power, I have been spoiled by the power these street cars have.

What are peoples thoughts on the stripes on the Speciale, I've specced at the moment but am having second thoughts, are they a bit old hat these days ? it seems not too many XX's have them and they are £16k which is a lump.

Imo gotta have. My Speciale and Pista and TDF had stripes and I wouldn’t consider non stripe used for a second. But….296 buyers went all gold chain and have been ordering all kinds of ugly combos and stripes on the base cars, kinda ruining the uniqueness.
