I am “singerizing” my F4T. Large changes to the cab to make it more comfortable. It will be modernized but maintaining the F40 interior/exterior aesthetic.

consider this my build thread. Yep, I’m doing a build thread

The body is made up of F40 parts and parts made from an F40

The drive train/Brakes/suspension/ electronics and switch gear is all 488 challenge EVO and 308. Chassis is 308 and custom made

Sequential. It will be a shifter (bespoke with gate for aesthetics- but function ) and will also have paddle capability. Brand hasn’t been selected yet

Why not dual clutch if you're going sequential? Just curious.

Well, I am contemplating a number of different things including design, streetability and comfort and they are all intertwined. I’m probably going in the form of original 488C. I like paddles and the HP I have planned, I may as well keep the driveline as simple and robust as possible because reliability is key. The design package of the interior is critical and the trans decision seriously affects that. My F4T must be a “singeresc” quality build incorporating genuine racecar to a bespoke interior.

after doing more research, I don’t think a sequential setup is going to achieve what I want. That may change back as we get further down the road in this interpretation. As we get down the road, it may end up being a stick manual

bits that are designed to work together generally provide the most reliable path and also the easiest. Normally no one will fault a performance update and paddles are certainly that......I'm laying out a 30s supercar with a flathead and trying to convince myself its ok to add paddles :)

LOL...I'd say you're just old and cranky but I suspect I'm older and more cranky so that can't be it :p

paddle shifting is SOOOOO nice....I might do it on my project (new build not the 308, I want it but I also want to try and call that done in my lifetime,), but this is not my car so my opinion is irrelevant. All the ideas I've read here would make a fine car so whichever way Julius goes I'm certain it will turn out wonderful

I have always loved the paddles.

I have lots of cars so I have a choice fortunately. This car is going to be a tough choice. Anyways stay tuned. Whatever we do, it’s going to be the coolest, fastest and most comfortable F40 (well 308 rebodied) on the planet

    Yeah, we are kickin butt.

I am having two looks for this car. One with the “wing” and one without.

For the non wing look, Like this:

Not that you asked for votes, but I'm thinking non wing, as pictured, is much cooler.

Thanks Steve. The winged look is mandatory. The unwinged is the mind blower I mentioned at the beginning of the thread
