Paint was in pretty great shape with only 5k miles when i got this month. But I had the old and poorly done PPF on the front clip removed, and then it really only needed a light polish overall to remove the slight hazing/dullness. It's amazing now. How hard was it to remove the old PPF? I want to do that at some point, but worried about the paint peeling off.
i had a shop do it bc of the nightmares that I had heard about paint peeling off. But after sitting in the FL sun for an hour or two, it basically pulled right off. They only had to steam it a bit and most of the glue came off with it. I think it really depends on how old it is, how much did it sit outside, and what type it was. This was a very thin PPF that wasn't installed all that well.
Who did you use in Florida to remove your PPF? I am also located in Florida and looking for a place to remove some really old and cracked factory PPF safely.
I frequently receive requests from aspiring car enthusiasts who want to photograph my car, and I’m always glad to support them. I remember being that kid once, full of passion and excitement. Here is one from a recent photo shoot taken by 16 year old Valther. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok, not 'recent' (6 months ago), but pics without people pollution are hard to come by. Image Unavailable, Please Login
