    My '85 Mondial QV has a bundle of dark green wires in the center console. I discovered them when I took the center switches out for some TLC. They appear to go to the 5 white square plastic bits on the bottom of the panel. BUT... there are at least 7 wires and only 5 squares. What am I looking at? Are these light wires? Do the little "H" pieces connect them to the squares? I'm confused. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    These are fiber optic "wires" to take light from one bulb (trace it back) and offers backlight for the various switches on the panel.

    The clip to the underside of the console plate. Console plates are very rare to find now, so don't damage it!
