Gotcha, but usually they have both concave and convex blanks, must be they don't for the mags.

I don’t understand the question. The blanks vary by wheel height (17, 18, 19”), width, and profile (convex, concave, really concave).

The Speedlines were made in a completely different manner which allowed for more flexibility in design.

Speedline challenge wheels are so good, I love them! But I also love 488 EVO Challenge center locks almost as much as 348 speedlines. So I had some 488 challenge EVO copys made out of forged magnesium but in 348/355 challenge wheel size. Now I don’t have to run my 348/355 challenge wheels all the time, I like mixing it up.

Waiting on my tires to arrive. Same Yokohama A052. I’ll weight both sets with tires when the tires are on the new set.

Image Unavailable, Please Login The wheels are extremely light, Adapter and nut is 2lb.
Those weights are with the adapter and nut on the wheel. So approx 2-3lb+ lighter than a 348/355 challenge wheel that I believe are about a little over 20lb each.
But I’ll have approx total weights tomorrow.

Challenge wheels are approximately 19lbs front 20lbs rear.

2lbs for the adapter and nut is pretty light. Taurino Racing’s adapter was heavier than that. I recall alot heavier. What is the material and what is the torque spec to tighten? They also look to be roughly 10mm spacer?

Taurino Racing’s centerlock adapter was about 10 lbs including the nut/each corner. Heavy duty.

Factory challenge wheel specs I see are 20.3lb front and rear.
Adapter was built at 11mm same as my hill engineering spacers.
I had the wheels build in the same spec as my 347/355 challenge wheels.
    18x8 et38. Weight without adapter 15.9lb
    18x10 et57 weight without adapter 16.2lb
    Super light parts.

You’re right. I had the wheels mixed up with NEEZ wheels. Challenge wheels are 9.3kg F/9.8kg R.

Your car is so bad ass.
Ferrari did it right when they designed the original challenge wheels, especially the front to rear variation in the faces. So good

Thanks. I thought it was said before they couldn't make an 18" magnesium. Maybe time to get something done :)

NEEZ produced challenge wheels in various sizes in magnesium. Roughly 18 lbs front and 19 lbs rear. Challenge wheels have meaty spokes, so it’s probably difficult to squeeze more than that. I love the unique design of the challenge wheels even if it weighs more.

I think it was just that copying the spoke profile (fronts) of the original Speedline CH wheel was a challenge with the CNC capability’s and the dimensions of the blanks. That’s why all the reproductions are more flat faced. The front spoke face of the originals is what makes them so cool in my opinion.
You can get Mag wheels made in any diameter you want as far as I know.
Originals are just the best, I love them.
